Welcome!  Our parish site exists to meet the needs of its members, and to help those members in times of hardship.  We worship together as a community of believers. We support one another’s values and beliefs.  We nurture the faith of our members in a variety of ways.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church (commonly abbreviated Adventist) is a Christian denomination which is distinguished by its observance of Saturday, the original seventh day of the Judeo-Christian week, as the Sabbath, and by its emphasis on the imminent second coming of Jesus Christ.  It is the eighth largest international body of Christians.  The denomination grew out of the Millerite movement in the United States during the middle part of the 19th century and was formally established in 1863.  Among its founders was Ellen G. White, whose extensive writings are still held in high regard by Seventh-day Adventists today.

He was born May 28, 1938, in Barre, Vt., the son of the late Drussel and Marjorie (Clifford) Coffin. Mr. Coffin served with the U.S. Navy and married Polly Bolton, Aug. 19, 1963. From the Bible to the Northern Maine woods, from the hardwood ridges and valleys of Vermont to the Rocky Mountains of Montana, he was able to discern and then educate his family and friends on the wonders that our Lord holds in store for each of us in heaven. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Polly of Stockholm, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Sherry Coffin of Bozeman, Mont., and Ked and Trina Coffin of Caribou; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Marion Coffin of Waterbury, Vt.; a sister and brother-in-law, Dottie and Maurice Fortier of Barre, Vt.; and six grandchildren, Kendra, Bryce, Rachael, Hannah, Elisa and Josiah.
