Presque Isle Seventh Day Adventist Church
Youth Section
Master Guide

This continues to be the highest level of leadership within the Adventurer/ Pathfinder programs of the church. It focuses on one’s personal spiritual life and growth first and foremost. General leadership skills are then woven into the sharpening of those skills, which are specifically geared to leading youth in God-ordained areas of development: understanding God’s world of nature, outreach ministry, service to others and a life-style that denotes healthy living.

Ambassador Group

The Ambassador Group is an organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church dedicated to meeting the spiritual, social, and lifestyle needs of youth ages 16-20’s by challenging them to experiencing and sharing a personal relationship with Christ, developing a lifestyle fitting their belief system and vocational interest, and providing them with an adequate venue for wholesome development of lifelong friendships.

Pathfinder Club

The Pathfinder Club is a worldwide program organized and directed by the Youth Department of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church often compared as an Seventh-day Adventist Co-ed Boy Scouts. It offers a wide range of learning experiences for young people 10 to 15 years of age (and older) and is operated by the local Seventh-day Adventist church under the direction an control of the local conference youth director.

The first camp was held in Town Line Lake, Michigan USA in 1926. Activities include community service, camping, crafts, classwork, marching, Bible study, Seventh-day Adventist Church history, and leadership training. Staff to student ratio is said to be about 1:5, which the organization stresses as an important learning benefit for participants. Participants are children and teenagers aged 10–15, progressing through different ranks called Class Levels each year. Pathfinder clubs across the globe are sponsored by the local missions/conferences and participate in different activities and camps.

Pathfinder clubs are sponsored by a local Seventh-day Adventist Church or school and will usually meet either once a week, bi-weekly or monthly.

Adventurer Club

The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored ministry open to all families of children in grades 1-4 who agree to keep the Adventurer Pledge and Law.

Founded in 1990 by Walt Mueller, CPYU has developed an international reputation as a voice providing cutting-edge information, resources and analysis on today's youth culture.

The mission of CPYU is to work with churches, schools, and community organizations to build stronger relationships between young people and those charged with helping them grow into healthy adulthood.

ReligiousResources.org is a comprehensive directory of Internet resources for all major religions, organized into a hierarchical directory.

ReligiousResources.org is developed and maintained by Susan Brumbaugh and Stan Taylor, good friends and co-owners of Aphids Communications, L.L.C.. Susan is the primary manager of the directory's content and structure; Stan concerns himself primarily with the technical aspects of the site.

This web site is an index of links to sites maintained by other people. There are some sites that we think are wonderful and agree with completely, and there are others we're listing with clenched teeth. Although Christian sites are heavily represented here, this is a site containing religious resources, so you will also find non-Christian material here. Please do not send us hateful e-mail or try to convince us this is wrong. If you prefer not to visit certain sites, don't follow the link. The content of a site is generally fairly clear from the title and/or the description.

Because we do not maintain the content found on sites listed in this directory, we can not be responsible for them. If you find errors or disagree with what you see, please send e-mail to the contact listed on the page where you find the problems. In many cases, we've listed the contact e-mail along with the details for a particular site.

There are also a number of commercial sites listed here. By including a listing, we are not endorsing the products or services offered by any particular company or organization. Please research any company thoroughly before you make a decision to contribute or spend money on a service or product. Be particularly careful about giving out your credit card number or other personal information over the Internet

Bible Poems and Songs by theme
From DLTK-Bible.com
(Note: If we haven't included the tune with a song, we've tried to find it and couldn't or we just don't have access to it.  We've included the songs anyway because people have appreciated finding the words to "the old songs they once knew")
