The Presque Isle Seventh-day Adventist Church is a family oriented place of worship. We are a faith community rooted in the beliefs described by the Holy Scriptures. There are no strangers at the Presque Isle Seventh-day Adventist Church; only friends we have not met, yet. Fellowship is very important to us and we provide spiritual and emotional support to all who want or need it. As Adventists, we believe a Trinity of three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. Being Seventh-day Adventists, we accept the Bible as our only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church's understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. To help us understand how God can transform us into His children, Jesus modeled the process of baptism for us. Baptism symbolized dying to self and coming alive in Jesus. Seventh-day Adventists practice full immersion baptism because by being fully buried beneath the water we symbolize that God's grace fully fills us with His new life for the future. Through baptism we are truly born again in Jesus. The Pastor of the Presque Isle Seventh-day Adventist Church is also the Pastor assigned to the Oakfield Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Pastor alternates between the two churches bi-weekly. Church elders take over the duties of the Pastor in his absence.
