What the World Needs Today
The world needs today what it needed nineteen hundred years ago - a revelation of Christ. A great worked of reform is demanded, and it is only through the grace of Christ that the work of restoration, physical, mental, and spiritual, can be accomplished.Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The savior mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for then, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, "Follow Me".There is need of coming close to the people of personal effort. If less time were given to sermonizing, and more time were spent in personal ministry, greater results would be seen. The poor are to be relieved, the sick care for, the sorrowing and the bereaved comforted, the ignorant instructed, the inexperienced counseled. We are to weep with those that weep, and rejoice with those that rejoice. Accompanied by the power of persuasion, the power of prayer, the power of prayer, the power of the love of God, this work will not, cannot, be without fruit. MH 143.4Upcoming Events

From Presque Isle:
Take Route 163 (a.k.a. Mapleton Road). Go east towards Mapleton / Ashland approximately 8 miles. Turn south on the Pelkey Road (caution, this road is narrow and curvy) until you reach the Grendall Road intersection. Proceed south on the Grendall Road approximately 2 miles. Putman Farm will be on your right. You will see fenced-in horse corral and large barn.
From Ashland:
Take Rte 163 (a.k.a. Presque Isle Road). Go west into downtown Mapleton. The Grendall Road intersection will be on the right just a short distance after you go by the Mapleton Elementary School. The Grendall Road has a 90 degree left-hand curve and a 90 degree right hand turn a short distance later at the intersection of the Pelkey Road. Proceed south on the Grendall Road approximately 2 miles. Putman Farm is on the right side of the road. You will see fenced in horse corral and large barn.
